Reintroducing: Ninth Grade!
Located just outside of Charlottesville, VA, Oakland’s nurturing atmosphere and farm-like setting create a safe space for children and teens with learning differences to flourish. Our small co-ed day school specializes in language-based learning and attention difficulties including dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD/ADD, and executive functioning issues.
This Fall, Oakland will extend our academic curriculum to once again serve students through the ninth grade, with plans to add one grade level each subsequent year building toward Oakland’s first graduating class of 2027. Through intensive academic instruction and emphasis on character development, we guide students on a journey of self-discovery, unlocking their potential to succeed and develop the confidence to take on even greater challenges in high school and beyond.
