Set on 450 bucolic acres in Troy, Virginia, Oakland School’s five-week summer program blends enriching academic instruction with the fun and independence of a traditional overnight camp, serving families from Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Richmond, Northern Virginia, and beyond.

With both day and residential options, our program serves students ages 6–15, including those who benefit from targeted reading support or who have learning differences such as dyslexia and ADHD. As an academically focused summer program, Oakland helps students strengthen core skills, build confidence, and return to school ready to succeed.
